Have you tried dehydrating herbs, sliced fruit or tomatoes in your air fryer, only to find the standard rack has gaps that are too wide—or there simply isn’t enough room to spread everything out properly?
This set of three round, fine-mesh stainless-steel racks gives you extra levels for dehydrating smaller ingredients without losing them through a wider rack. Use one rack on its own or stack all three when you need more drying space.
We use these racks in our own Ninja Foodi 11-in-1, which doesn’t include this style of fine-mesh dehydrating rack. They have become our practical solution for semi-dried tomatoes and other smaller produce that needs plenty of airflow and room to spread out.
They are lightweight rather than heavy-duty—and that is exactly how we recommend using them: for dehydrating, holding smaller ingredients and light baking, not for supporting heavy foods.
Because successful dehydrating depends on two things that are easy to overlook: space and airflow.
If ingredients overlap or sit too close together, moisture cannot escape evenly. These stackable racks help you spread a batch across multiple levels while the fine mesh supports smaller pieces that may fall through the wider rack supplied with your appliance.
These racks are not designed to carry substantial weight. Avoid loading them with heavy cuts of meat or other foods that could bend or destabilise the racks.
Not sure where to begin? Follow Chef Ian as he uses these racks in the Ninja Foodi 11-in-1 to turn everyday tomatoes into beautifully seasoned, flavour-packed semi-dried tomatoes.
The masterclass takes you through choosing the right thickness, seasoning the tomatoes, arranging them on the racks, dehydrating them to the right texture and storing the finished result safely. It is a practical first project that shows exactly why extra levels and good airflow matter.

Don’t crowd the racks. Airflow is doing the work, so leaving a little space around each piece generally gives you a more consistent result than squeezing every last slice onto one level.
Keep the thickness consistent too. One thick slice mixed with thinner pieces can still be holding moisture long after the rest of the batch is ready.
When using all three levels, check them during the process and rotate the top and bottom racks if needed. Every appliance moves heat and air a little differently, and a quick rotation can help the batch dry more evenly.
Each rack measures approximately 20.2cm in diameter. The set has been tested and is regularly used in our Ninja Foodi 11-in-1.
Air fryers and multi-cookers vary between brands and models, so compatibility with other appliances cannot be guaranteed.
Please measure before ordering:
Dishwasher suitable. We regularly wash ours in the dishwasher without issue. Dry thoroughly after washing.
The stainless-steel racks become hot during use. Allow them to cool before handling or use suitable heat-resistant gloves or utensils.
These are lightweight racks and are not intended to support heavy foods. Do not overload them. Only use the racks when they sit securely inside the appliance, and always follow the appliance manufacturer’s operating and safety instructions.
