Instead of using the seasoning sachet (full of things you donโt need), Chef Ian uses the homemade chicken stock from Part 4 to create a clean, flavour-packed Japanese-style noodle bowl.
Finished with a touch of sweet soy for depth, this is fast foodโฆ done properly.

Replace the regular ramen noodles with rice noodles or a certified gluten-free ramen-style noodle.
Also check the other Japanese ingredients carefully. In particular, regular soy sauce contains wheat, so use gluten-free tamari or certified GF soy sauce instead. Any stock, miso or bottled sauces used in the broth should also be checked for a gluten-free label, especially if you are not using your own fresh home made stock
Chef Ianโs Tip: Cook the rice noodles separately according to the packet directions and add them to the bowl just before serving. This stops them becoming too soft or absorbing too much of your beautiful broth.
