An intimate, hosted food and wine weekend for just five couples, exploring Stanthorpe and the Granite Belt from 20–22 November 2026.
We want you to feel confident about what is included and what to expect before reserving your place at The Granite Belt Table. Please read the following information before purchasing. If you have any questions about the weekend or whether it is suitable for you, please contact us before completing your booking.
The Granite Belt Table is an intimate, adults-only weekend with places limited to five couples.
One purchase secures one package for two adults. Your booking is confirmed once full payment has been successfully completed.
After payment, we will contact you personally to collect the names and contact details of both guests, together with any dietary requirements, allergies, accessibility considerations and individual photography preferences.
The person completing the purchase confirms that they are authorised to make the booking and will ensure that the second guest receives this important event information and these booking terms.

The package is for two adults sharing one room at Apple & Grape Motel. The price includes GST.

Personal hosting and itinerary support from Chef Ian and Karyn throughout the weekend.
Unless specifically stated as included, the following are at each guest’s own expense:
Sunday is a self-drive experience. Guests will require access to their own suitable vehicle and are responsible for their own transport throughout Sunday’s itinerary.
Accommodation is provided at Apple & Grape Motel in central Stanthorpe.
Each package includes one room for two adults for two nights. Room and bedding arrangements remain subject to the motel’s availability and final confirmation.
Guests are responsible for any additional accommodation charges, incidentals or expenses placed against their room.
We will do our best to accommodate dietary requirements and food allergies when they are disclosed promptly after booking.
The weekend includes meals and tastings provided by several independent venues. While we will communicate your requirements carefully, some venues may have limitations, and not every dietary request can be guaranteed.
Guests with serious allergies or medical dietary requirements should contact us before booking so we can discuss the suitability of the weekend.
The itinerary includes vehicle access, cellar doors, dining venues, regional properties, uneven outdoor surfaces and some short walks.
Please contact us before booking if either guest has mobility, accessibility or other support requirements. We will discuss the itinerary honestly and work with our venue partners to provide reasonable assistance where possible.
Some regional venues may have physical limitations that are outside our control.
The Granite Belt Table is an adults-only event. All guests must be 18 years of age or older.
Wine and other alcoholic beverages form part of several experiences. All alcohol service remains subject to each venue’s responsible service obligations and the discretion of its licensed staff.
Guests are not required to consume alcohol to participate in the weekend.
The Granite Belt is a working agricultural region. Farm visits, strawberry picking, fresh produce and some outdoor experiences depend upon weather, harvest timing, crop availability and growing conditions.
If a seasonal activity is unavailable, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a comparable regional experience. Produce picked or purchased during farm visits is at the guest’s own expense unless it is specifically identified as part of the package.
Underground Chef holds appropriate event and public liability insurance for The Granite Belt Table.
Guests remain responsible for their luggage, valuables, purchases, vehicles and other personal belongings throughout the weekend.
We strongly recommend suitable travel insurance covering unexpected illness, cancellation, travel disruption and loss or damage to personal belongings.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
The Granite Belt Table is a small hosted weekend. Accommodation, transport, dining reservations and tasting experiences are secured in advance on behalf of each couple.
If you need to cancel, please contact us in writing as soon as possible.
For cancellations received more than 45 days before the event begins, we will refund the amount paid, less any actual, non-recoverable third-party costs reasonably incurred specifically for your booking.
Cancellations received within 45 days of the event are non-refundable for change of mind unless we are able to transfer the complete package to another couple.
If the package is successfully transferred or resold, we will refund the amount paid, less any actual, non-recoverable third-party costs reasonably incurred specifically for your booking.
A change of guest name may be possible with reasonable notice, subject to accommodation, venue and supplier requirements.
Please contact us before making any arrangements to transfer your booking. Any direct supplier cost arising from an approved change will be discussed with you before the change is completed.
These cancellation conditions do not limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
The itinerary has been thoughtfully planned; however, timings, venues and seasonal activities may change if weather, venue availability, operational requirements or circumstances outside our reasonable control make this necessary.
Where a minor change is required, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a comparable venue or experience and preserve the overall quality, value and spirit of the weekend.
If Underground Chef cancels the event or makes a major change that materially alters the nature of the experience, guests will be offered their choice of an appropriate alternative arrangement or a refund, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
If the event cannot proceed because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will communicate with guests promptly and outline the available refund, credit or alternative arrangements. Any refund calculation may take account of actual third-party costs that cannot reasonably be recovered. Nothing in this section limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
The Granite Belt Table requires a minimum number of confirmed guests to proceed.
If minimum numbers are not reached and we decide not to proceed, booked guests will be contacted and offered their choice of a full refund or transfer to an agreed alternative event.
We recommend that guests consider this when arranging travel and obtain appropriate travel insurance.
Photographs and short videos may be taken during the weekend to capture guests’ experiences and shared memories.
After booking and before the event, each guest will be asked to complete an individual photography and video consent form confirming whether they agree to identifiable photographs or footage of them being used on Underground Chef’s website, social media or in future event marketing.
Marketing consent is optional and will not affect a guest’s participation in the weekend.
Personal, dietary, accessibility and emergency information collected for the event will be used to administer the booking and help us look after guests throughout the weekend.
By completing payment, the purchaser confirms that they have read and accepted:

Your booking is confirmed once full payment has been successfully received.
