- Dish: Japanese-Style Chicken Noodle Bowl

Ingredients
- ~100g cooked chicken breast
- 1 portion noodles (instant noodles β discard seasoning sachet)
- 1/2 litre homemade chicken stock
- Bok choy (chopped)
- Choy sum (chopped)
- ~30ml sweet soy sauce (kecap manis or similar)
π To finish:
- Bean sprouts
- Spring onion (chopped)
- Shichimi togarashi (optional)
π Optional heat:
Method
Step 1: Heat the Stock
- Pour chicken stock into saucepan
- Bring to the boil
Step 2: Build the Base Flavour
- Add sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- Stir through
π This adds depth, slight sweetness, and rounds out the broth
Step 3: Cook the Noodles
- Add noodles to the stock
- Cook until just tender
Step 4: Prep While It Cooks
- Chop bok choy and choy sum into bite-sized pieces
Step 5: Build the Bowl
- Add greens to the pot
- Add cooked chicken
- Simmer briefly until heated through

Step 6: Finish & Serve
- Pour into bowl
- Top with:
- Bean sprouts
- Spring onion
- Shichimi togarashi (optional)
